Dr. Gary G. Kaihara has practiced dentistry since 1981. His caring, patient-centered approach gives each patient the time to discuss their goals, questions, and desired treatment outcomes. He believes strong relationships are at the heart of excellent dental care and takes great satisfaction in helping his patients improve their oral health through comfortable treatment and clear, informative guidance.

Dr. Kaihara grew up in Fullerton, California. Before beginning his formal dental education, he spent many hours in a local private dental practice observing clinical procedures – an experience that first sparked his interest in dentistry.

Dr. Kaihara has been married to his wife, Shelly, since 1989, and together they have three children. The family resides in Great Falls, Virginia. Outside the practice, Dr. Kaihara dedicates time to dental mission work with the Future of Nicaragua Foundation and has coached youth sports in Great Falls, including soccer, Little League, and wrestling. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, skiing, and home brewing.
